They're often called 'flying rats' in Amsterdam, but I actually find them pretty beautiful. I love their unique patterns, their shiny green/pinkish neck and their funny movements. No pigeon is the same, just like my 'klei duifjes' (ceramic pigeons). These hand made tiny pigeons are all different because of the hand painted glaze. A little tribute to the pigeon. Because, you know. Home is where the pigeon is...
